This logo is the product of a collaboration between me and my very good friend, fellow designer, and bandmate Doug Shimmin. Raccoon Dogs is our band that evolved from our songwriting partnership during the pandemic. He and I released two albums under the name Covid Bros. Now we’ve added some friends and we’re playing live. We thought it appropriate to change the name. The new variant is called Raccoon Dogs because leading scientist believe the animal is the source for the virus, and we think it’s a cool name and origin story.
